Privacy

Durak Club collects nothing about you. This page says exactly what that means, in detail, so that it can be checked rather than believed.

What is collected

Nothing. The app has no accounts and no sign-in, asks for no email address, contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party software development kits of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted to the developer or to anybody else, and there is no server that this app talks to.

What stays on your device

Some things are remembered so the app is usable. All of them live only on your own device, in the app's own storage, and are removed when you delete the app:

None of this is sent anywhere, backed up to the developer, or readable by anybody but you.

Playing with friends nearby

When you play with people in the room, the devices talk to each other directly over the local Wi-Fi network. Nothing passes through the internet and nothing passes through a server.

What the other devices in the room can see is what the game needs: the display name and avatar you chose, which seat you are in, and the moves you make. Your cards are not sent to anybody who is not entitled to see them. The connection between devices is encrypted, and a device joining a room has to match a short code shown on both screens before it is let in.

iOS will ask your permission for local network access the first time you play this way, and for camera access only if you choose to join by scanning a code. Both are used for that and nothing else.

Children

The app is suitable for general audiences. Because it collects nothing at all, it collects nothing from children either. There is no free-form chat: the only things you can say to another player are five fixed, built-in reactions, which can be switched off.

If this ever changes

An online mode played over the internet is being built and is not part of this app. If it is ever released, it will necessarily involve sending something to a server, and this page and the app's App Store privacy information will be updated before that happens — not after.
